I believe every project deserves its own distinct style.
It would feel wrong for The Avengers to look like The Godfather. One is a light-hearted, spectacle about superheroes saving the world; the other, a shadowed descent into the making of a crime boss. The Avengers moves fast with bright visuals, quick cuts, and rapid camera moves. The Godfather lingers in darkness with methodical pacing and still frames.
Style should always serve the story.
So, I begin with the most essential question: what is this story really about? What is the theme, the message, the value prop? The answer drives every decision — scripting, casting, cinematography, editing, music — i.e. the style.
My job isn’t to stamp a “signature look” on every project. It’s to uncover the visual language that best tells this story. When style grows organically from the heart of the material, the result is work that feels unique, alive, and unforgettable.
